Understanding the wiring of a timer relay is essential for proper installation and operation.


Basic Terminals:

Most timer relays include the following terminals:

- Power supply terminals (A1& A2,orA2&A3)

- Common (COM)

- Normally Open (NO)

- Normally Closed (NC)


Wiring Principle:

When power is applied, the timer begins its function depending on the selected mode. The output contacts switch according to the preset timing logic.


Example:

In an off delay timer relay, the relay activates immediately when powered, and remains active for a set time after power is removed.


Common Applications:

- Motor control systems

- Pump automation

- Lighting delay systems
